“Man is a student all his life” a great philosopher and guide, Dr. Sarvapally Radhakrishnan had .said. In his honour, his birthday, 5th September, is celebrated as a Teacher’s Day We, at the Royal College, with great warmth, celebrated the occasion, with solemn fervor and humility of a student.
The students presented various programmes, which included songs in praise of teachers, skit depicting satire in everyday village school life. They also presented entertainment items like Bhangra dance and regional dance. Still lighter with laughter was a “fish pond” for teachers and mimicry presentation.
The Chairman, followed by the director and the principal, addressed the students about the value based living and infinite values of high thinking, likes of Dr. Radhakrishnan and Mahatma Gandhi.
The students hosted a lavish lunch on party in the honour of the teachers of the school, The Royal College.
