Farewell is emotionally very difficult event. The entire atmosphere is surcharged with very high spirit of contemplation. One gapes into the unknown future with expectancy of positivity but sometimes even with nervousness of uncertainty.
The most latent aspect of bidding adieu is most interpersonal. We bid goodbye with heavy heart, not so much because you are separating but because of the uncertainty of reunion. The question that haunts the minds is when will we meet or whether at all we will ever meet.
Schooling period is a golden period of man’s life. Although time never comes back, in reality, the schooling times keep coming back to us time again. The times spent together, happy and not so very happy, go down the memory lane and are recalled in nostalgia, at some other times, during our career, at private party times, with our children and in the golden age, even with grand children.
Adieu is very painful but it has a strange silver outline of sweetness of expectancy. We smile and even laugh with the moist eyes. A unique mix of inseparable happiness and sadness pervades in the melee of parting. We have to do something which our mind accepts but heart refuses.
So, with this heavy heart, WE AT THE ROYAL COLLEGE BID ADIEU TO OUR PRESENT BATCH OF 12TH STANDARD
